August has been filled with state events and Garage riders have finished the month with some hardware to show for it. The month started with the State Omnium up in Bellingham. Chris Tuefel took 1st in the time trial and 7th overall in the Pro/1/2 category. In the cat3 field Kyle Farrell and Josh Gunn placed 3rd and 6th overall, respectively. In the Masters category Alex Rosenast came away with bronze.

Mid August brought the State Team Time Trial where the cat3 team of Aaron Lavin, Tom Wick, Josh Gunn, and Kyle Farrell rode to a silver medal. The team finished only seconds behind the first place team over the 32 mile course, despite one rider dropping out 6 miles in due to a mechanical.

Finishing the month at the State Hill Climb, Chris Tuefel rode the 6 miles up to Crystal Mountain in 24:06 for 4th place in the Pro/1/2 category. Josh Gunn took silver in the cat3 field.
